A Legacy of Faith, Learning & Service
Located in Bishwanath, Sylhet, Darul Uloom Boruni Madrasa has become an important centre of Islamic education and community welfare. The institution is dedicated to nurturing students with authentic Islamic teachings while also serving local families through humanitarian and development initiatives.
Through the efforts of Darul Uloom Foundation (DUF), the madrasa has expanded beyond traditional education and now supports projects focused on food aid, water wells, sustainable farming, student support, and community development

Beyond the Classroom
The vision of Darul Uloom Boruni extends far beyond education alone. The madrasa works to shape students into responsible, compassionate, and community-focused individuals grounded in Islamic values and strong moral character.
For many students from financially struggling backgrounds, the institution provides not only education but also food, accommodation, mentorship, discipline, and emotional support. It becomes a place of safety, growth, and opportunity.
Clean Water Projects
Installing water wells and tube-wells to provide safe drinking water for rural families.
Sustainable Farming
Supporting long-term sustainability through fish farming and agricultural initiatives.
Qurbani Distribution
Helping struggling families through organised meat distribution during Eid-ul-Adha.

Bringing Clean Water to Rural Communities
Access to clean water remains a challenge for many families in rural Bangladesh. Through its water well projects, Darul Uloom Foundation helps provide reliable and safe water sources for underserved communities.
These initiatives improve hygiene, health, and overall quality of life while reducing the burden on families who previously travelled long distances for drinking water.

A Place of Worship & Spiritual Unity
The madrasa and mosque continue to serve as a spiritual centre for the local Muslim community. Daily prayers, Islamic gatherings, Qur’an sessions, and educational programmes bring together students, scholars, and community members in an atmosphere of unity and faith.
The institution reflects a mission rooted in sincerity, compassion, service, and the pursuit of beneficial knowledge.

Building a Better Future Together
Every student educated, every family supported, every water well installed, and every humanitarian project completed reflects the collective effort to create meaningful and lasting positive change.
Darul Uloom Boruni continues to move forward with a vision rooted in faith, education, compassion, and service to humanity.
